Sunscreen should be worn all year through but with summer just around the corner, we know that means we’ll be enjoying more days spent outdoors with the family but that also means our skin will need to be protected.

A common misconception is that sunscreen is the only way to protect against UV radiation, when in fact, we should be layering up.

Follow our 5 simple tips…

Tip 1:

Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen (it protects against both UVA & UVB) with a minimum SPF of 30 to dry skin, 15 minutes before heading out into the sun. Reapply at least every 2 hours and immediately after swimming or sweating.

*Remember, sunscreen can be water/sweat resistant, NOT water/sweat proof.
